Welcome to Staunton Vision Center! If you are interested in glasses or contact lenses, contact our office to set up an appointment. We carry a variety of designer frames to accommodate any lifestyle.
Our optometrist, Dr. Steven W. Moore, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Southwest Missouri State University in 1987. He then attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry, where he earned his Optometric Doctorate Degree in May of 1991.
Before he purchased Taylorville Vision Center in March 1993, Dr. Moore previously practiced in Alton, Illinois; has worked as a civilian practitioner at the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi; and also worked as a member of the Omni Eye Service of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He purchased Staunton Vision Center in January 2008. Dr. Moore's areas of interest include primary eye care, contact lenses, and geriatric examinations.
Dr. Moore is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. He has also performed extensive research for Bausch & Lomb® for the fitting and evaluation of toric soft contact lenses.
